theese ads are pretty awsome even if it is to sell alachol but they have very clear pro lgbt messages https://youtu.be/YgHCzV2FrSM https://youtu.be/5Bk78tUYa7Q so yeah how bout that!
I'm still primarily a gin-drinker, but it's good to see a positive message from Absolut. They did always have some interesting commercials, especially the Tim and Eric ones
You love vodka too much, no more 2 litre bottles. In seriousness though it's awesome Absolut is being so openly supportive.
The ads are great, although the comments on the videos are on par with what I would expect from Youtube.
Seems like propaganda to me. How did either of these stories even correlate with the product itself? I felt like I was watching a promotional Ad for an episode of MTV's True Life; rather than an Ad that focusses on promoting their Vodka. Throughout both it was like they were saying, "Hey, we understand your struggle with society, but if you drink our Vodka somehow we'll make it all better." Really? .. That's like those breakfast cereal commercials that featured rap songs and/or black families to pander to the African-American demographic. You think because you put black people on there, that I'll be more likely to consume your product? And it comes off more insulting than anything, in my opinion. So as you can probably tell I'm going to down-vote this one; I'm just not feeling it.
Absolut? They've been around for a long time, and have been very pro-LGBT for as long as I can remember. Pretty cool shit if you ask me. I think one or both of the founders have done guest work on Rupaul's Drag Race since 2009 or 2010 I think.
I'm there with ya I wonder when LGBT-friendly cigarettes will come .. although can't really classify them as 'friendly' :eusa_danc
It is common here, the bottles are usually various styles (people collect them) and some are actually rainbow coloured: http://www.absolut.com/contentasset...045d/absolut_absolutvodka_colors_pride_10.jpg I believe it was started as a bit of a defiance against Russian laws (where most vodka originates from). Absolut is a Swedish brand (correct me if I'm wrong), so it is a bit of an economic protest. What a weird shame the ads are blocked due to "innapropriate content. The amount of near-porn you get on Youtube, and they choose to block a vanilla advert for vodka?
Awesome to see some LGBT friendly ads. The comment section was horrendous though. I can't believe people are so passionate about being anti-LGBT. Wtf is up with that? Like are we the antichrist or something?
