...'no' when someone(friends or strangers or could be anybody) ask you to do something?

Well, I'm not talking about really something excessive. But things like "Can you come?" or "Can borrow it?" or whatever. And whatever you get asked to do, you don't really want to do/feel like to do at the time you got asked.
And can you say 'No' to them? Even if they are really nice or your firends or family?

I sometimes have bit hard time saying 'No' to people...:eusa_doh:

Absoloutely not... which unfortunately for me means long hectic days with loads to do and an 'in tray' up to the ceiling. One day i'll learn though.

I guess it all stems from the i'll scratch your back and you scratch mine society that we live in, wanting to help out incase one day you need something in return.

i can if i want to but i usually dont. if its like $5 and they end up not paying me back well its only $5... i am always giving stuff away like gum or something not really a big deal to me. but people are always like something is different about matt, always pretty nice (lol) and giving. if me giving someone a piece of gum brightens up their day then to me its worth the $2 i spent on a pack or something.

I can't say no. Ever. Except drugs, of course.

    Really, I need to learn...

I have a really hard time saying no.:eusa_doh:

It for me stends from not wanting to hurt a person's feelings and sometimes they take advantage of that.:tears: :help: :help:

I feel more comfortable saying no than yes.

A friend of mine once said to me, "until you are able to say no, you really can't say yes". It makes so much sense. So, I try to live by it. If there is something I want or need to say no to, I think about what my friend said and realize that saying yes because I "have to" isn't really saying yes. Hope this makes sense.

    That's sounds familiar to me:eusa_doh:
I don't think they actually takes advantage of it but do think that they are no doubt that if they ask me something I'll probably say "Yes".:icon_sad:

I can say no if I want to, but It really depends on who is asking... Like if Michael Phelps came up to me and said "Get on the floor and bark slave" I would get on the floor and bark.

    Wow...

Guys and girls, I need about $50,000 in order to pay my studies... you wouldn't dare say no after what you have said, would you???????

Back to the subject, I can definitely say no. However, if someone is asking for help and I can help him/her, I would not.

I really have to, then I'll say "no". But even then, it's a very apologetic "no". I suck at saying "no" to people. In fact, I'd get in trouble in school for doing other people's homework. I'm such a doormat.

If work calls me I always say yes, I just can NEVER say no... If its something else it depends on what it is!
