Does it hurt? I'm only really asking on here because I know a lot of trans women use it, so I thought I would get more information here I guess. I hate facial and body hair soooo much. I can shave my face until it's bleeding, but I just don't want anything to grow back. This seems like the best way to get around that, but I'm a complete baby and I have a very low threshold for pain sometimes.

As far as I know it depends on the settings of the laser. I've had it on a lot of different body parts and some places hurt more than others. My face and tummy didn't hurt bad but the genitals and underarms hurt quite a bit for me. It depends on how well you can deal with pain as well, I find longer electrolysis sessions are way worse pain wise than laser is.

They give you ice to put on the area before they do it, which helps. It still stings a little but only for a few seconds.
