...what would that subject be? Would it be something more general, like "the role of money in politics" or would it be a detailed examination of a specific case, like a multi-part piece on the Benghazi incident? Or would it be about something more personal? I saw this question on another forum, but I don't yet know how I would answer it. What are your ideas?
What wouldn't I make a documentary on? Everything in the world is fascinating enough to be turned into one.
The origin and mythology of apples. I would start in the ancient apple forests of Kazakhstan then trace their progression through Europe and the West. I'd also like to research and document the real story of John Chapman (aka Johnny Appleseed).
Probably something about humans' place in the world, or about evolution and why it's super cool and gives you a big picture of everything.
art or life or something LGBT probs. At the moment I'm writing a speech for Literature class called: Why 'the art of being normal' and other LGBT Books are important in today's society. Which is scary cause everyone else is doing it on McDonalds and acting and crap. I really like pride stuff aswell. MAKE ME A FRICKING DOCUMENTARY ON DAT!
I would want to create a documentary on whether or not it's possible to create a ''Universal Utopia'' where every single individual is completely happy living on Earth. I'll give myself six days, and if I can't do that, then I can see why God gave up.
I'd like to make a documentary about my local area. It had some quite interesting stories once you get past the chavs.
A documentary debunking the many myths of mental illness. Here are some examples: People with mental illness are all unstable and out of control, even those in treatment. You shouldn't take psychotropic meds, they're "bad for you." There is no such thing as mental illness. All people with mental illness got it from a traumatic experience. People with mental illness have low IQs. People with schizophrenia have more than one personality. People with mental illness are more likely to commit violent crimes than those who don't have them. Ignorance, all of those!
Not much of a documentary but I'd love to just explore a ton of big cities and record the experience.
This history of horror movies (from the mainstream to the underground and rare/obscure/lost) or the existence of snuff films.
I would like to do a documentary on guys who have families and yet are on the down low without their wives knowing. This topic would be the first part of my documentary where the second part would be on straight male dancers would likes to perform for gay clubs instead of straight females.
I'd love to make a documentary about how people infantilize disability. It makes me sick how most people, regardless of politics infantilize people with any signs of a disability. Even people into disability rights infantilize disabled people.
