A member has created a Wikipedia page on Empty Closets. Good to see EC is recognized in other places just like ### is. Maybe this will increase traffic as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empty_Closets
Well then... nevermind. Wikipedia deleted it. Apparently EC isn't noteworthy enough. edit- Oh, and on a completely unrelated note , the article was deleted by a very religious Christian. His name was "Real Kentucky Hick". I'm sure that has nothing to do with his clearly unbiased opinion, right?
A page about a web site is not the sort of thing Wikipedia will accept. Something big like eBay or Amazon perhaps, but we are not in the sort of league that would justify a Wikipedia entry. Anything you put on there would get removed.
Maybe we could put up/edit a page relating to, say, gay youth support, and then mention EC in it. This might even increase traffic than if we put up a page just about EC. I think I might do that now actually.
Yep, so I just put a little blurb at the bottom of the ### page about EC. It's not very big, but at least our name is on wikipedia .
Just FYI - I was the one who wrote the page. I have a copy stored here. "The other forum" has its own page... grrr, we just need 114,000 users...
