Wow. It's so weird seeing how relatively quickly depictions of us in the media shifted. And we even see this now with the transgender community too- 20 years ago, it was nothing but "Silence of the Lambs", "Ace Ventura" bullshit. Now we're at the point where Caitlyn Jenner is very rarely misgendered by the mainstream media. But watching that clip- it's almost surreal now with the Supreme Court ruling in hindsight, how heated everything got.
