This is purely for interests sake. I was wondering what religion is most represented in the EC community.

Please don't discriminate against others due to their personal beliefs

    I'm a proud pastafarian

    I'm screwed up :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

My mum's an Anglican, my Dad's in the Uniting church, i attend a Catholic School and my best friend is a Lutheran.... Technically that would make me christian, but i don't know what to believe.

I voted 'None' despite the fact that you included 'Atheist'.
Because Atheism is not a religion. And neither is Agnostism(?) for that matter.

    Grumble mumble.

On an interesting note, if I was going to choose a religion, I'd totally be Sikh. They have the best parties. And if I was a dude, I'd be required to carry a freakin' sword. A SWORD. Awesome.

I was thinking 'bout it, but then I decided that it's kinda hard to be more than one religion in present day, coz of conflicting beliefs, etc. So yeah, just choose the one that BEST suits you

So, you could say that my faith is inter-faith.

None of these choices suit me. I would write down what I think to be true but it would probably take way to long. I'm somewhere between agnosticism, nontheism, spiritualism, reformed liberal Abrahamic religions' moral concepts, and some other random things.
Basically I'm the type of person who takes the "Religious Supermarket" idea to the extreme.

I was born Christian, I recon it's a good beleif system, don't take the bible literally ! I spent years studying the Bible. I also see that God speaks to people any where any time. If ya don't beleive in god, then you are inspired to do good some how!!
Also, Religion is not to be confused with Spirituality !! Check out the diff your self!! Paul
( I don't wanna start a big discussion, just offering my years of personal insight)

Well, I voted agnostic. I'm not completely sold on the idea that any human can comprehend what (if any) higher power there is that created us. I mean, why would there be soooo many different religions if one of them knew that they were worshipping the correct God. I guess they all "know", but since they all "know", but because everyone "knows" they're right, it kinda negates everyone's "knowledge".

So I think there might be something higher than us...Actually, I think it's quite probable, but I don't think any one of us has the ability/conprehension of what it/he/she is...if that makes sense

Christian, but I agree with a lot of Buddhist principles. That said, I don't believe a word the Bible says. Not a crazy Christian, honest. <3

I am a hindu and quite glad that the hindu philosophies can be quite neutral towards homosexuality. They even have carvings on temples of two men/two women in sexual poses. There are even stories of how Lord krishna expressed more love for his best mate then he did for his wife. I dont know if this is true but i read somewhere that one day day krishna came across a young man who had been banished by his family for being gay and he said to him that it isnt who you are that matters its what you do with that life that is important.

Atheist here, and I'm not going to bother explaining why it's not a religion again. But it isn't.

I really have no idea what the different religions are...

I believe God exists, but I'm not someone to worship him, but then other days, I don't believe he exists, so yea :S

Atheist. If there does end up being some higher power then I am not impressed with them. I would love to hear their explanation for this messed up worlddddd.

i said other. i think i believe some things from different religions.
    like karma and such.

do i think there is some high being? idk. the only thing that keeps me thinking there might be is fear of being struck down. which comes from years over everyone telling me im a sinner. and blah blah blah
