I would like to inquire anent the amount of individuals here who have completed, or rather are in the process of completing, StrongLifts 5x5.

As for myself, I intend to initiate the program soon.

By the way, the individual who popularized the "five sets of five repetition" method, is named Mehdi.

Mehdi's statistics on the primary compound movements:
    Squat - 418 pounds/190 kilograms
    Deadlift - 440 pounds/200 kilograms
    Bench press - 242 pounds/110 kilograms

Gravity pulls down on him at 167.6 pounds/76 kilograms.

These are not very recent images of Mehdi.

I created this poll with the intention of seeing if any individuals have completed this program.

I do Crossfit at Work lol:. At work I probably end up going 100 flights of stairs a day and also lift and toss 50lb+ sacks of weighted things. I guess I end up getting a functional workout.

And you're getting paid for said workout. Nice.

I just do a lot of upper body work. I don't get into these fad regimens you see thrown around. What I'm doing is working just fine for me.

I hoist what I require for my sports training. Not this program though (I've never heard of it either).

I do a wide variety of exercises more intended to tone than bulk up.

I suppose all weight lifting (even body weight exercises) can help your endurance and would provide the necessary microtears of the muscle fibers to become stronger, diet and regimen could alter overall results. At least in the more extremes, bulking up would entail providing the body with all of the necessary protein and calories to fix itself and would err on the side of caution (i.e. eat more calories than needed and lead to an increase in muscle mass and fat (from excess nutrition)), whereas toning would probably entail preventing excess fat from being accumulated (via restricting calories) and accepting the lower "gains," but at the same time favorably altering the fat:muscle ratio, even if it means reducing a bit of muscle for reducing a lot of fat. Toning goals, I suppose, are more body fat percentage conscious.
