I thought I'd ask this question, as I just graduated high school and have been looking back on my school memories. That said, what's the coolest thing you ever got to do in school? I'll start. The coolest thing I ever got to do was set the fire alarm off for a fire drill this most recent March.

The only thing I can come up with at this moment is that for our class photo one of my high school years we took a picture with a taxidermy beaver????
I don't even know, it was on display in the corridors and we thought he looked cool.

It's hard to say. I didn't do much that was "cool" in high school, though there were some interesting things that happened during grad week, including the "pancake breakfast", whereby me and a large number of the seniors spent the night in sleeping bags out on the football field and then awoke to pancakes being cooked  That was pretty awesome.

The coolest, in fact the only cool thing that I ever did in high school occurred just after the last time I walked out of the place. It was leaving. I remember how exhilarating it was. It was like leaving Solzenhitsyns' Gulag. I know there are a lot of people who are gay, who will say the same thing.

We did some wrestling in elementary school. I thought it was cool at the time :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Otherwise, we also did canoe in a pool to practice in Open Air class xD It looked pretty silly. Apart from that, I don't think we did much ''cool'' stuff.

Personally, I wasn't bullied much because of my sexuality (guess I just got lucky there), but I know many people who have, and would totally use that same analogy.

Of course, it says a lot about the banality of your high school experience when the coolest memory you have is setting the fire alarm off.

There's quite a few I can think of. Despite having not the best high school experience, and due to that, missing out on things. I also got to be involved and do some pretty awesome things.

From elementary to high school I went on really cool field trips. I participated in a band that went to state and won. Got to infiltrate a mock suspect house with a swat team. Had a chance to create my own art panel that would be displayed in the wall at my old school. They're not amazing things but it was memorable for me.

I got to see a dismembered leg in 3 pieces and a human brain. Biology trip to a histology department at the local hospital. It was really cool.

In middle school we went to the movies to see a documentary and they made a booking error so we were forced to watch Mean Girls at the theater.

In primary school me and my friend climbed underneath the toilets (it was a raised building so there was some space underneath) into an old lady's garden. I thought it was pretty cool at the time.

It was probably ROTC-related. I'd say taking a tour of Patrick Air Force Base, seeing tons of cool stuff and meeting awesome people. In the same trip I got to see a section of the Kennedy Space Center that's closed to normal visitors because my instructor was a former missile officer and had connections.

We threw a surprise party for our teacher in sixth grade. It was really hard to set everything up keeping it a secret from her. I was surprised she didn't notice the balloons we hid right next to her!

There are definitely other things but I can't think of them right now...

That would be the worst thing I've ever done in school. >.< That terrible stench!

We had a maths teacher that let us hit a punchbag if we were frustrated by our schoolwork. I thought that was pretty cool. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
