What Are You Proud of Doing Today?

Hey! That's a great one!

I taught a class.

 

Well, I got my SAT 2.0 score back, 1260. Which for those of you who don't know the 2.0 scale, in the original grading scale that's a 1790. Which puts me in the top 20% in the country (!):icon_bigg

 

I made a full logo for a photographer in less than one hour.

 

I genotyped a litter of mice and got accurate results.

Noice. *high five*

 

I'm proud of feeding the feral cats at work. There are roughly 6 feral cats. Two in particular are quite "tame" already, they sit and wait for me in the mornings, and their tails are up in the air, meaning happy cats, when they see me walking towards their bowls. One of them actually comes running up to me, so excited to get food. There is one other woman who also feeds them, and the other workers put out leftover food for them too. I wish I could cuddle them all, but they aren't quite as trusting yet

 

I'm proud that I've now left school.

 

I surived a really tough day at work. Here I am.

 

ive had a healthy morning so far, smoothie for breakfast, worked out a bit and also got to do sum reading...im just hoping the rest of my day/work later goes well

 

I finished clothes. Believe me, that's an accomplishment in this apartment

 

Finished my last class of my biggest pains in the ass students today.

 

I haven't finished yet, as this is an ongoing task for the next few weeks, but I'm working on editing my thesis so I can defend my work for my master's degree in 1 month!!

 

Turned in overdue library books :x

 

I'm proud of making that phone call. Granted, it wasn't the smoothest call ever and I had to get redirected half a dozen times to get my questions answered but - I'm proud that I did it.

 

Finished a couple drawings and worked up the courage to show them to close friends. Still shaking with anxiety, but meh. Did it.

 

I surpassed my daily goal at the gym. (Tomorrow I'll want to be dead, but still.)

 

Yup i just finished 1 of the hardest 1 and half hour workouts ive done in like more years than i can Count haha

I read this thread before excersizing and i figured id do my best at excersizing today... this thread gave me some good Motivation

 

I didn't get stressed out at work today, even though I was bouncing all over the place, doing various odd tasks [instead of focusing on one type of work.]

 

I hopefully helped a friend and maybe strengthened, in the long term, her relationship with her sister.

 

I felt good today, more positive. My job didn't irritate me at all, and I got to help a few fellow employees. The atmosphere was just lighter. Then I went to a coffee shop, and managed to talk to the girl I've been catching feelings for without being awkward. I don't know, just felt like a good day.
