Basically whoever the Democratic nominee is (which in this case is most likely Hillary) 'cause the GOP almost scares me at times. I don't really know much about third parties though.

Sanders (assuming Clinton gets indicted which seems very likely at this point)

Stein. Sanders or Johnson might be good, too.

    I don't like the others.

If were counting the earlier candidates then I would have picked Mike Huckabee. Here's why:

    -He's LGBT friendly
-He's totally not pandering to zealots
-He is never, ever influenced by taking his religion too seriously
    -He's a rational thinker
-And, of course, he definitely knows what he's doing

    Just kidding everybody.

Bernie or Hilary. Pretty much anyone but a conservative or libertarian

Bernie or Stein. I think Bernie would be much better than any of the candidates running. But, if he is not nominated (the likely case -- not sure how Hillary's FBI troubles are developing though), I will vote for Stein because her values are closest to mine (although she is a little more extreme, in some cases).

I like Bernie Sanders, but considering the current state of the Democratic Primary, it's unlikely.

At this point, I'd rather have Obama for a third term than the charlatan or the troglodyte.

Well I'm definitely NOT voting for Clinton or Trump. Choosing between the two is like choosing which one of my bones I want snapped in half. Since Bernie Sanders isn't likely to win with the way the Democratic Party runs the show I'm definitely voting third party or writing someone in.

Not American but both of the "realistic" current options seem awful.

Why? He said he has gay friends. This totally excuses all of the really homophobic things he's said in the past .

    +1.

Yet, while I'm certainly no fan of Hillary's, I think that Donald Trump should be kept as far away from the US nuclear arsenal as possible.

I'm not in the US, but if I was then I'd vote for sanders. But also I'm confused about why Hilary Clinton is so bad. Everyone in NZ that I've talked to says they'd vote for her?

Ask them if they can name a positive thing about her other than her being a woman.

This is a Chit Chat thread. Just sayin'.

Also, one that has been repeated twice weekly for months on end...

Well, I'd want Kasich to be president but since he dropped out I'm honestly all for Trump.
