I think I need that on a T-shirt. Not that I've watched the show [or whatever it is], I just hate being hugged.
That was entirely worth the wait. It feels like they explained everything and nothing at the same time.
This comment seemed pretty solid as a theory : Here's something to make you feel better. It was happy ending after all. When the red guy pulled the plug, the media was gone and the characters weren't controlled by the media anymore. At the end the characters changed into their favorite colors. But what about the notepad? If they aren't controlled by the media anymore, why is the notepad still there? Well, the notepad is NOT part of the media. I know this because the scenes starting at 5:05 show the red guy messing with the machine. As he messes with it, the teachers from the previous and "future" episodes showed up EXCEPT for the notepad. That would mean that the notepad isn't part of the media. Also in episode one, Roy didn't make any appearances at all so that is more evidence. In conclusion, the DHMIS series came to a complete end. It's also about how both parenting and media shapes a child.. Without Roy, they were individuals becoming the colour they wanted and the note book was happy wear as with Roy being a helicopter parent, they were sad and not individual as shown by the red guy who was trying to be indevidual but surrounded by people convinced they were different.. For example on guy said "well I am the cool guy"... ---------- Post added 20th Jun 2016 at 07:47 AM ---------- Roy isn't the media, he just controls what he wants his child to see
I thought it was both wonderful and disturbing. I've been a big fan of the series since the first one came out, so it's sad to see it ending, but I'm glad it ended in such a way that led me to spend the rest of my day thinking theories.
