Through the generosity of friends who are being supportive of my coming out, I think I will be going to NYC for the Pride Celebration this weekend. Am staying at some friends, have a Metro Card to use and food in their fridge. I am so excited - and a bit apprehensive. this may be far more than I am comfortable with at this stage. But I am going if plans all work out. Heading down on Friday, spending Saturday playing tourist-on-a-budget, and then the parade and party on Sunday. Home Monday.
