'Twas good, but it was painful trying to get a place where you could actually see anything.
    And all of that standing...

Haha i know aye Vector. I got there at about 3pm and got a great spot on flinders street. My legs were incredibly sore by the time the Dykes on Bikes started going.

Other than that it was absolutely amazing
one of the sexy sexy life guards even came up and hugged me, then another one sdquirted me with a water pistol lmao.

    :-D

If I weren't on the opposite side of the world, I'd be there.

    Out to everyone
Sunday (tomorrow) is Fair Day, which is sort of the community even kicking off Mardi Gras - stalls, performances and lots of people wandering around, so that'd be good to meet people. Then if you go to the parade next weekend, everyone will hit up the bars along Oxford St - that's really fun, gays and straights alike in the same space and hitting on each other regardless of orientation :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: On the Sunday after the parade there's usually a few different parties at various venues which I'm sure you can find online. Otherwise the week after the parade is the official Mardi Gras party, which is usually packed and has a few headlining performances. Any/all of those should be awesome!

It's great fun, and certainlt caters for everyone.

If you're not the partying type there's still plenty to do within the event; such as workshops, performances, musical showcases, parades, speeches, The Mardi Ha (although I think thats over now) and you can even join in on discussions hosted by some of Australias (and beyond) most renowned intellectuals on GBL topics.

Check out some of the activitest online and I'm sure you'll find something just perfect for you!

Mardi Gras was GREAT this year!

Sympathy to all those in the area that didn't come; was one of the best Parades I have seen yet!

Carnivale this year was THE best ever (until I got kicked out, swear it wasn't an 18+ event...)

Might be pics of me on a float soon

I had to miss this year, which made me sad because I was finally old enough... Family drama. But I really want to go next year, but I hope I don't go alone...

I only watched it on TV and it was cool, I rather watch it on TV than go there as there is too much people.
