So my school is having a musical so I auditioned and got one of the lead roles. I'll be Nick, a geeky kid who's in love with his best friend Joy who's very selfish and doesn't really care about Nick. Nick asks her out but she turns him down.

Well things happen and at the end Joy realizes that she loves Nick but then Nick says it's too late and ends up going out with the main character (John, a jock who realizes he's gay throughout the musical).

I like it, but it's gonna be awkward since my parents are gonna be watching me. Oh God lol >_<

sounds like it'll be fun. Don't worry about your parents or anyone else for that matter, it's only acting, just concentrate on the task at hand and put yourself into the character 100%. Good luck!
