    Happy Canada day! I'm working today (at Tim Hortons, which is pretty damn Canadian), but it's a pretty short shift, and I'll be done just in time for the fireworks!

    There's also going to be a few celebrations in town, so i'll be stopping there earlier today. Other than that, i didnt really make crazy patriotic plans this year :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Just enjoying a beautiful summer's day off. Unfortunately, my BF is working today (he's a nurse), but I will have a nice night with him, maybe we'll go see our local fireworks... :slight_smile:

    I just got back from the fireworks! Sat in the danger zone, and got hit with shrapnel. T'was a good time.

    Hope everyone enjoyed their Canada Day!!

    My sister woke me up on Friday with the news that Canadian IDs are no longer going to have genders! Needless to say, that filled me with even more Canadian Pride than Canada Day usually inspires! :grin:

    I celebrated a tad early and got beer with a fellow Canuck living here. She wore her Justin Trudeau riding a noble steed sweater, we took selfies, it was great. :slight_smile:
