Tommorow I am departing to Australia, for a year hopefully. Planning to do a bit of travel/work. I'm really nervous because I'm traveling alone, and the only friends I have there are in Perth. I've made my decision though and I'm so excited! Anyone here from Brisbane that can give me some advice on what cool things to do?
I only went there on holiday once and i loved the place! can't really give you any ideas on what to do there though, seeing as I was there for only 4 days. Hope you enjoy it there! i love australia it's a great place, just watch out for the sun!
i live in brisbane.. kinda funny, because im moving to ireland in 45 days for a year for a working holiday... you would probably be here by now... can i ask - why did you choose brisbane? sunshine coast, and gold coast are good to go visit.. if your into clubbing, go to the valley, (theres a few good gay bars aswell) pm me sometime if you get a chance...
It really depends how you're traveling and how long you're staying where. What are your plans for traveling?
i dont really know why i chose brisbane really, just got it into my head. as for travel plans, i'm heading to surfers paradise tommorow for a week, and then who knows i might head back to bris for a while. yeah the valley is mental i went there on saturday when everyone was celebrating paddy's day. thanks for the advice everyone i'm sure i'll have a great time no matter what i do!
