My little three year old daughter is playing with her ponies. She started humming the wedding tune and I asked her what was happening. She replied "Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are getting married." It was so cute I felt like I had to share.
Often seems like kids are much more accepting than many adults, especially when they aren't raised around hateful family. Sounds really adorable, not even making a big deal out of it or anything. :icon_wink
:/ When Glee first started up, I was a little too young to watch it, but I remember a girl who REALLY loved Glee always telling me about it. She'd always go on about how she wanted Blaine and Kurt to stay together as a "perfect pair", and after always hearing her rant about them, I just casually asked "Why don't they marry?" Being a religious person, I thought it was normal to marry as soon as you were 18 or only a year or two after that. XD She was so shocked I said that though- I didn't know at the time because it was never brought up, but the members of my church were extremely homo and transphobic. Still, because it was never brought up, I was never indoctrinated to assume men and men or women and women were forbidden from marrying. I mean, as soon as I heard of it being a sin, I thought that was a hugely radical idea, and that's coming from the person who used to think women shouldn't be able to wear skirts that cut off above the knee! :/
I always thought RD would end up with daring do or applejack. I think fluttershy would do better with twilight sparkle. That is really sweet though. I like her way of thinking. Also, Yes I'm a Brony ( I have the entire build a bear collection, all 18 of them amongst other things). Happy days
