Mentioning fear of heights and flights in another topic, I decided we could talk about what terrifies us.
As I already mentioned, the very thought of a plane getting detached from the ground terrifies me. I like having a solid ground under my feet. For this reason I'm terrified of anything that DOESN'T travel on the ground - including everything that goes on or under water. Cuz I can't fly, if something happens, nor can I swim, if something happens.
I also hate all kinds of insects but them I can at least kill, while one can't kill a plane or a ship.

Being abused or manipulated [and then not being able to get out of the situation due to the other person using their medical/mental condition to ''allow them'' to do this to me]

Not being respected for being non-binary bisexual [and then being told I'm not respecting them due to my refusal to accept their non respectfulness to me]

Being blamed for something I haven't done

Not being able to control my own situation

Being touched [apart from handshaking/hi-fiving/hand-holding if in long enough relationship]

    Fear of falling uncontrollably

Not being able to be a good enough teacher due to the high demands of 30-40 children and their parents - who all want the best for their child - but the ''best'' might be different for all these 30 children and being able to make sure each gets their ''best'' whilst not stopping the others get their ''best'' will be difficult. Being that terrible first-year-teaching teacher [I had plenty of those when I was in school and I don't wish to be one].

A little off-topic but... what exactly is a "binary/non-binary bisexual"? Cuz when I read "binary", this pops into my mind:

I'm afraid of falling. I used to say heights, but its not being high up that frightens me, but the thought of falling from somewhere high up. At that point there's literally nothing I can do. Like, I recently went on a plane for the first time and I was fine because there wasn't a lot of turbulence, and most of the time I wasn't looking out the window. I didn't feel like I'd fall, because I had plenty of room inside the plane and it sort of felt like riding in a car.

Whereas one time I got vertigo on a walkway about three stories up, and had to crawl to the other side. The walkway was pretty small, and the rail was too. I did not feel nearly as safe as in a plane, even though the plane was significantly higher. I've also been at the top of an old lighthouse with a rusty railing and actually thought I would die.

I also have a fear of spiders/bugs (thought mainly spiders.) I want to say its not that bad, but nothing is more terrifying than seeing a spider up close. Ew.

I have the exact same feelings about flying. I also am deathly scared of dogs. They are the devil's agents I swear.

Non-binary is where you are either both, none, or partly male and/or female (but please don't confuse with tumbler genders)

Bisexual is where you are attracted to two genders - but can also exist as the umbrella term for poly sexual (attracted to more than two genders, but not all) and pansexual (attracted to all genders/not caring about the gender of the person you're dating).

I put them together as I am both those things (agender and bisexual), in terms of the LGBT, but am worried people won't take me seriously.

Change, grey morality (i think in black and white, grey morality just freaks me the hell out and i don't get it, it makes everything feel dangerous and unsecure), social interaction (parties, large gatherings etc). SJW's (social justice warriors), eyes (they freak me out having to look at them, so i don't like eye contact). haha this list goes on for ages, i could name a lot more.

...SOOO many things. I don't even know where to begin.

It was really bad when I was little. (For example, it took a long time to potty train me because I was afraid of the toilet. :lol:slight_smile:

How about I just say life overall is terrifying for me?

Having no control over a situation.
    Daddy Long Legs.
    Wasps.
Anything happening to the people/animals I love.
    Heights, particularly unstable ones.
    Public speaking.
    Dead bodies.
    Yodeling.

I think that covers it, more or less. It doesn't seem like a lot, but there are a lot of things that whilst I dislike them intensely and so tend to avoid them (like spiders and bigoted people), I'm not actually afraid of them.

I'm afraid someone will slit my throat. :dead:

Oh! Intruders in my house. Especially if they were to break in at night.
