Never really wanted to go either, it just seems lame to me.
I can understand why people would enjoy going just not my thing i guess.
I think the Golden Banana is near me...weird.

I often go ta a gay bar that has a 'shower show' at around 10:30, there's a glass door in a wall with a very hot guy inside taking a shower in a bathing suit. He may or may not get undressed tho, it depends.

So it's not really a strip club but it's still fun to watch

I've been to a few.

In Colorado, there's a limit to how naked a guy can get in a strip club, which is roughly around the G-string level. So that's as far as they go. The one I've been to the most here has three "stages" - a main stage in the front room, a smaller one (which is basically just a box around the main tent pole) on the patio, and a REALLY tiny one (which is, really, just a trunk) in the room combining the two. That one's really ridiculous, since you're basically standing about two feet away from the stripper.

I went to one in the Washington DC area, where they did full frontal. The guys seemed a bit better there, and I did enjoy the "dollar-bill" trick.

All said, not really my thing, though. I only go when a group of friends wants to.

Here in Vancouver, although we are super-repressive about alcohol and liquor laws, apparently there is no problem with baring it all (at least in gay clubs) so there are no gay strip clubs but you can see essentially "strip shows" multiple nights a week. We also have a bar with a shower show which happens every Thursday night. They call it "Shower Power" (of course).

To be honest, not that I have anything against cock

, but seeing someone's semi-erect or erect dick bouncing around as they dance has always struck me as pretty... weird and absurd. And funny-looking. As a result, I kinda prefer it when they keep some type of underwear on.
