If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

    So its been a very long time since I have been active on EC, I was just in Switzerland and Italy on a Music trip and for some reason or another, my iPhone didn't want to cooperate whenever I went onto EC... oh well enough of my blabbering.

    Personally, I want to explore more of the French speaking parts of Switzerland, I was in Monteux for the Jazz festival, and I really enjoyed the vibe of the city, and the scenery was just incredible.

    So, where do you want to go?

    My first destination of choice would probably be Japan. Otherwise... somewhere in New Zeeland or China or so with neat natural scenery.

    Vulcan. I bet I'll find some like-minded vulcans there, and any time spent off Earth is a boon. Memory Alpha is pretty good too.

    No doubt I'd love to go anywhere in space, actually.

    Or if my feet had to stay on the ground, I'd love to go to London, or CERN, or the NASA headquarters, or the MIT campus, or any of the Scandiwegian countries.

    But seriously I would love to visit all the historic sites in America that are related to space exploration so like Kennedy and Houston as I just love anything and everything to do with the subject. I would also like to visit Japan and see Akihabara in person.

    Either Japan, Sweden, or Finland. Japan because of my love for anime/manga/japanese culture. But Sweden and Finland because so many bands I like are from there. If it came down to which one, I'd probably pick Japan. There's more interests there.

    Japan is a must, not for the city's but the people, culture, and history.
    The Colosseum in Italy, I've been to Chichen Itza and it was amazing, touching the actual stone(your not supposed to) was the most amazing thing I have every done. Totally off topic but Apocalypto is an amazing movie.

    I have always wanted to go to Alaska. The nature there looks so beautiful. ^^

    I also want to visit Iceland, Norway and Australia. Those are just so interesting countries :slight_smile:

    I'd love to go to Norway and/or Amsterdam. I have family in Norway (on my dad's side) and my mom's side came from Amsterdam (Holland).

    Also, untradtional but somewhere in the newly discovered alien planets...like the ones similar to earth but with protections of course. Google Gliese 581g to see what do I mean.

    Chile. I like Patagonia climate and South America and being somewhat disconnected from the rest of the world. And I like the shape of Chile and its development. I've already been to Colombia and loved it.
    That's my first choice. I'd also like to visit Greenland, Iceland, Argentina, Antarctica, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

    I would love to give Tibet, China a visit. Visiting one of the Tibetan monasteries is something I've always wanted to do because everything is just so beautiful out there.

    I've already been there but I want to go back to Kyoto in Japan. It was just about as convenient as Tokyo and even had a similar feel to it but it had less people. I also think it's a bit easier to get away from the city part and explore more of what Japan has to offer aside from what's in the city.
