In all honesty, if given a "weird science lab" where I could make whoever I wanted, I'd probably create an entirely new, more advanced sentient species and after such a prototype was deemed a success I would do the same to myself. Human limitations are boring. We'd have to leave for another world of course, since humans tend to become aggressive when they don't understand someone they label a "freak".

To be a little more near-era tech plausible however, I'd want to expand mental capabilities like reasoning and computation. Nothing impresses me more than a beautiful mind. So she'd be far more intellectually capable than I am. Perhaps quite tall and wise, a great thinker who stands above me in both mind and body. Someone who might just be capable of turning this world around for the better... Also she'd be injected with Chozo DNA.
