    Do the smilies on your computer screen have shadows?

    Take a look at these:

    :dry:frowning2:*hug*):tantrum::badgrin::kiss::slight_smile:

    I see shadows for all of thse smilies....but I've never noticed them before. They are there, right?

    This is so weird. I don't see them now, but they were definitely there earlier, plain as day. They were to the right of every smiley.....

    O well.

    I still still vaguely make them out....but just blurred enough that I feel like I'm making them up.

    You guys are totally hallucinating.
    Take a screenshot of these shadows. I need proof as I don't see any myself.

    I think you're talking about VGA ghosting. :slight_smile:

    [IMG]

    Another symptom of this ghosting can also be the rest of your screen appearing slightly darker than normal.

    This can happen when either your Monitor cable (the one with the blue ends and the bits that screw in) is either not quite plugged in correctly, damaged, or is too long.

    You're not crazy, you've probably just bumped the cable out of and back into place. :slight_smile:

    I think it's just a blurred outline. Except the tantrum, that's kinda got an obvious shadow.

    this could also be after images from looking at them for long your eyes naturally make an outline for the image seen
