    My daith piercing is rejecting.

This is angering me because this is my 4th piercing. [5th if you count the fact that an Industrial is 2 holes] and i havent had ANY problems with the others, and i didnt treat this one any differently.

Augh and its usually surface piercings that reject, the piercer even told me its rare for them to reject. wtfwtfwtf

    :bang:

Owie, that looks like it hurts. :O

When your ear gets touched or anything, do they tend to hurt? Sorry, just curious. Never had a piercing. And what is it "rejecting" mean exactly?

compared to my industrial[the long bar] it didnt hurt very much.

Basically rejecting means the body identifies the piercing as a threat and literally pushes it out. it doesnt hurt at all, so i only noticed today. it went from where it initally was in the picture to barely a milimetre of skin keeping it in place on my ear :/

That must be a fun job, actually. I am very pain-o-phobic so i could never do that, but much props to the people that do. Going to work would not be boring, thats for sure!

& Greg, the one thing that kind of stopped me from wanting to get the training and such for the job is the fact that i'd be expected to pierce penises... *cringe*

    Aww, how unfortunate :frowning2:
Sometimes it happens for no apparent reason or you may have accidentely hit it without noticing.
I would advise you to take it out before it rejects, unless you want an ugly scar.

Does it come out for "certain activities"? I just imagine it would get in the way a bit...
