Mine, personally, is the Halloween Series with Michael Meyers. It was the very first horror movie I watched, and I fell in love with it!:lol:

I'm still afraid of Halloween and all the sequels.

My favorite is Hocus Pocus.
I bought it last year and I've been trying to find it so I can watch it today.

    ****

I just found the case and there is no movie inside. *_*

Not a big fan of Halloween, but who can resist an opportunity to re-watch Scream?

Some of my favorites are the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), the original Halloween (1978), Spider Baby, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, The House of the Devil, Would You Rather, and Silent Night, Bloody Night.

I have too many to name my all time fav. One of my favorites that I haven't seen in years is the 1931 adaptation of Dr. Jekyll ands Mr. Hyde, and I missed it when it was on TCM a week or so ago.

I think I was in high school when I saw it for the first time, and I was stunned by how incredible the effects were. It was so impressive to see how just simple lighting tricks made the iconic transformation scene feel like the American Werewolf in London of its time.

These are all so good. I spent the night at my friend's house yesterday, and her little sister watched Jaws all night. xD

I'd have to say that my second favorite movie is definitely The Nightmare Before Christmas. Or basically all Tim Burton movies. xD

For some reason I always used to watch 'Interview with the vampire' on Halloween. Like literally every year from when I was a teenager till a few years ago. Nowadays, don't really have a go to movie for it.

The Shining (1980) - a classic modern horror film written by Stephen King and directed by Stanley Kubrick. A family moves into a majestic hotel to maintain it during the off-season. The father descends into madness and has visions of killing his family; only the boy can save them.

Donnie Darko (2001) - a quirky cult-classic film set in 1988 about an awkward teenage boy who a) is experiencing hallucinations of a dark, demonic rabbit who visits and "mentors" him in the dark of night b) is the first time traveler c) is the creator of the universe and the only one who can save it from impending doom d) all of the above.

My all-time favourite movie is 'Beetlejuice', but I haven't watched it in a while. It's my favourite because it's 100% pure awesomeness from start to finish (in my unbiased opinion).

This year I watched 'The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari' on Halloween, which is a great film if you like silent, really-creepy-but-not-too-scary films with awesome sets and music.

The very first Halloween movie. Along with Scream were my introduction into horror films, and Michael Myers was always my favorite character in general.

My favorite is the animated movie The Halloween Tree. Most people I know have never seen it or heard of it but I highly recommend it.
