I've always liked this little lesser-known fact. I'm going to thoroughly enjoy feasting on a modern day velociraptor this Thursday

My grandparents had a ranch/farm with turkeys and they were the meanest, nastiest birds, always looking for a fight or might even chase you around (but they were delicious). You can see how this might look like a dinosaur or something from a bygone era.

What does it really matter? Humans are omnivores. Short of eating other humans, which is repulsive (but not a dietary issue) for multiple reasons, what does the origin of most things that we eat actually matter?

    Just asking?

Birds belong in the clade Dinosauria, so they are actually considered dinosaurs taxonomically. It's always a fun fact to surprise people with. ☺
