Other than the obvious history behind it. Is the people on social media who vultures around the web for "bad" photos of food so that they can make fun of it. The lines of the last minute shoppers that go to the grocery stores. The anxiety you get for having to reach out to family members to wish them a Happy Thanksgiving even though you barely talk. Not really having a place to go for Thanksgiving because you're not close to your family and you just rather not deal with the drama. I guess I'll be that negative Nancy and ask what are some things you don't like about thanksgiving.
Feeling obligated to go to my grandparents' house for thanksgiving even though I just wanted to hang out with friends on thanksgiving.
The fact that people I know start sending texts at like 5:300-6:00 a.m. saying 'HAPPY THANKSGIVING!' like we don't already know? I actually get the day off and would like to sleep in a bit, but everyone starts texting about it super early. Why are these people awake at this hour, and why do they feel the need to do this? It happens every year and I find it extremely irritating. This morning I got about eight of these before I was even semi-conscious. WTF?
There's nothing I don't like about Thanksgiving itself (I find most of my family extremely tolerable and I love the food); it's tomorrow that I have negative feelings about.
Sitting at the dinner table, knowing that my grandmother thinks that people like me should be killed.
