Hi y'all it's just my curiosity to know how many asian do we have here, especially for those who live in ASIA.

My name is Dragon a.k.a Christian (up to you whether u're okay to put your name here or not) and I am from Indonesia (South East Asia) I hope you guys know where it is :icon_bigg

So, anyone from ASIA, I'm waiting! because Asia seems not ready for LGBT, they're trying to cope with it but still, i feel that it's not sincere, just another western influence.
That's my opinion only. So write down where u are n ur opinion about LGBT in Asia.

    :smilewave

Owwh, Singapore. My place is worse i guess. We uphold the eastern value which makes gay out of the value

Japan! I wanna be in Japan too, but not for the sakura and all the beauty,

Well.... I didn't really find out that I'm not straight when i got to Singapore, and I'm only 17... so i don't know what it's like to be gay in indo.
Singapore, seems pretty okay with it even though they have those laws about sodomy and stuff but then again, it has that website which i don't know if I can mention here since it's another website.
LA's been the best so far in terms of me coming out and having a community with the GSAs in school and West Hollywood 5 minutes away from me :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

It's exactly the other way around in Indo..
we have gay community actually and i'll definitely join them as soon as i come out but the pressure of coming out is just too big to handle, so here I am shutting my mouth up.

LA seems really great! good for u then..
just inform me if u're coming back here

Yes Why not, I'm talking Asia in general as geographically, not necessarily eastern asia.
nice, we have a lot of people joining in

Australasia is really near but it's just different, in culture i mean. Everybody from Indo who would like to be 'free' from the eastern definition of taboo, they directly go to australia, or australasia in this case hahahaha
I'm planing to study there in the next couple years,, :icon_bigg:icon_bigg

    Singapore, I've been there,,
What do u think about it? is it a nice place to be who u are?

Which part is it actually that u want to visit?? We have Incredible India, Malaysia Truly Asia, Visit Indonesia, The Soul of Asia, and whole lot more!:grin:

:icon_sad::icon_sad: I'm so jelous, I'm in Asia but i've never been there n i really wanna go to Japan

Well, you say it all, Asia just has it, :icon_bigg:icon_bigg

I'm Australian, but have lived 11 years in SE Asia. 6 years in Indonesia, 4 years in Singapore and 1 year in Malaysia. As a foreigner I never experienced any anti-gay sentiment (I am OUT) but one boss in Jakarta did ask me to keep it to myself with clients, for business reasons, which I felt was a very reasonable request.
I studied Bahasa Indonesia at Uni in Australia and after 6 years there I feel I'm quite fluent.
I've had several Indonesian bfs, a Singaporean and a Filipino (in Singapore).
Currently I am in Australia studying, but plan on returning to KL next year....
