I'm 22, will be 23 in January but this always seems to surprise people who think i'm around 18-20, sometimes even younger.
It's a strange mix between being IDed for a lottery ticket (in the UK thats at 16) and sometimes not being IDed for alcohol (18).

Any tips on how to look my age?

How old do you look in comparison with your age?

Same thing with me. I'm 26 and still look 18. People always think my younger sister is older than me. Afraid I don't have any tips on how to look older, though.

    I'm 20, but I look 16-17.

Well, there's not much you can do really. Just keep your cards around :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

In all honesty, I think we all like to think we look younger than we do.
It's always nice to be complimented about our looks.

I'm 19 and have had people assume I'm anywhere from 15-16 to 25-26. I'd say the majority would assume I'm in my early 20s...

Yup. Being told you look younger is a standard compliment; you're simply not going to be told "you look exactly like your age!" or "wow, you look a lot older!" much. These are generally not seen as compliments.

I've been told I look younger many times. I've also been told I look younger than my twin brother.

I don't think you'll find many people here who haven't been told they look younger at some point. That's not to say it's complete bunk, but it's a bit trite.

I'm 14 but people usually think I'm around 16-18. I suppose that's because of my height though, I'm rather tall for my age.

Not sure nowadays but in High-School, I kept getting mistaken for a teacher in the hallways.

I'm not much help since I'm 23 and I regularly get mistaken for being 15-17. I would say keep your cards on you.

All my life, people have assumed I'm older than I actually am. People are often shocked to hear my actual age. They usually think I'm 5 or so years older than I actually am. I have a lot of fun with that, lol. Sure, it's not NICE to hear that I look older, but I've gotten used to it by now so it no longer bothers me as much. I've also been told that I now look more my age with my hair shorter, and purple, so guess my previous hairstyle also played a huge role in being mistaken for someone older. I can't really see a difference. Sure, the purple hair may be "in style" now, but does it really make THAT much of a difference? Oh well, I love it either way. Just regret only dying the ends, because now it looks like it has grown out, lol. Will dye everything in a few weeks' time. Just have to put some cash aside, as it's quite expensive

So all of you who are mistaken for being younger - cherish it. Sure, it may be a pain now, but once you are a lot older, you will be thankful. Not all of us are that lucky

I'm 14 but I look about 11. As a kid I used to look older than I was, but then I stopped and now my peers look older than me.

Well I can't really help you:

Yesterday someone said I look like 15... and I'm 22...
But in my case, I think it's because I don't wear any make-up. I hope you find the secret

I'm 15 but I'm tall and kinda curvy so I can pass off as seventeen and maybe even eighteen.

    I swear I'm part elf.

Youthfulness already ran strong on my mother's side of the family, insofar as looks go. So I already look maybe 14-15, if I am presenting female. Though as a guy I look 12-13. In actuality I am 18 years old.

The only thing that sets me apart from looking so young is how I carry myself. And I think that's all one can really do - act like an adult and even if you don't look it, good people will respect you.

Somebody once mistaked me for a (high school) senior.

Sorry but I've got no advice.

One way is to gain weight. Usually it's assumed skinnier people are younger than they are. If you're a guy, maybe grow facial hair.
