I'm not a Christian but like everyone I know, I celebrate at Christmas and new year with all the feasting, shopping and general merriness expected. This year however, I've been trying to focus more on the good I can do for others, whether friends and family or complete strangers. I'm running a gift collection for the local dog rehoming centre for one but I have tried to make smaller efforts too. For example, inviting someone sitting alone to join me and friends for lunch, letting other drivers out at junctions, paying compliments to people, etc. I thought it would be nice to start this thread for people to post what they have done or plan to do to spread some festive happiness.
