Has anyone else experienced this, when they just can't get a movie off of their mind once they've seen it? I just watched "Kiss the Bride (2007)" and (I don't know why) I just can't get the story, characters, etc; out of my mind.

the music in mama mia is just too good... :frowning2:

story wise I loved mambo italiano and I see so many matching parts in every day life (of corse it was a movie that covered the time span of 2~9 months... or so)

Yes, it happened to me with 'May', an eerie and moving horror/drama film. After watching it, I started relating many situations of my life to the ones in the film.

Bruce Labruce's pornographic art-flick Super 8 1/2 messed with my head for a bit. It totally put my mind out of gear, and I don't really know how or why. I couldn't say anything sensible for about ten minutes. xD

"300" is what finally prompted me to come out. After seeing 300 nearly naked chiseled men on screen, I couldn't put off coming out any longer. I wouldn't call it adverse, but it was an effect.

There was a Tim Robbins movie called Jacob's Ladder that I saw when I was younger that I couldn't get out of my mind for awhile. One of those pyschological mind-fucks where you weren't exactly sure what was going on. Me and my friend were just sitting in the theater mesmorized about the story and characters until the cleaning crew shooed us out. Kinda like Sixth Sense but much better.

WALL-E kinda stuck in my mind. The post-apocalyptic earth blew my mind. How a film could be so dark and frightening, yet so funny and lovely at the same time. It truly amazed me.

RENT changed my life, seriously. I first saw a few numbers at my church's "Cabaret Night", and they were incredible. I saw the movie and cried almost all the way through it, and something just clicked.

After I saw Twilight I couldn't get the characters out of my head even though I didn't really like the film.
And since then I have read the first 2 books and LOVE the film now!

I agree with both of these.

I also think "The Skeleton Key" and "V for Vendetta" were two movies I couldn't get off my mind for a while after I saw them.

EDIT: And wait - Any of the Stephen King stuff adversly affects me! Example: IT (Hell no.) and his mini-series Rose Red. ....Then there was that movie 13 Ghosts... I just don't like scary things.

I still can't. That movie is part of what turned me into the apathetic misanthrope I've been for months now. I can't say I agree with every single bit of philosophy in the movie, but it raped my brain inside and out.

I couldn't get V For Vendetta off my mind for a long time, but that's more down to Natalie Portman being so insanely hot with a shaved head than anything else.
