Okay, so I was watching "Victor Victoria", which is basically about a woman impersonating a man impersonating a woman. A man falls for her, but finds him attractive.

So, here's the question. If you are gay, would you date a male-to-female transsexual, or if you are lesbian, would you date a female-to-male transsexual? (Or perhaps ever inf you're gay, would you date a female-to-male transsexual, and lesbians, would you date a male-to-female transsexual?)

In simpler terms, would you rather date someone who looks like they fits who you're attracted to, or someone whose "parts" match what you like?

I dunno, actually. That's a hard question.
I wouldn't knock it till I tried it, I'd say.
I've never had the experience, so I dunno how I'd feel about it.
I mean, I'd rather a woman of course. But sometimes if you fall for someone, you just fall for them and other things don't matter.

I don't know if I could, because...well..to me the parts matter a little bit. But, I would date a MtF Transsexual.

I tend to get attracted to personalities rather than body parts, so I supposed it could happen, yes.

I had hoped that whoever I started a relationship with was also gay so that we could have a closer common background and could relate more easily, but I wouldn't mind. To be honest, something tells me I would be more interested in a MTF than FTM. Pre-op, I guess. Or should I just limit it to transvestites? They're not all Tim Curry...I don't know, really.

Having never been in the situation, I don't really feel like I can give you a clear answer here, but I'll put it like this: I don't know if I would go looking for that kind of relationship, but if I fell for a transgendered person (MtF or FtM) I wouldn't have an issue with pursuing it only on the basis of gender.

I can't say it now (becouse when i say something next thing is happening for me to change my mind) but i think i could be friends with trans (they are funny and nice persons) but not dating them. thats my opinion.

hmmmm i won;t know until I try it though..

i'd like to say "oh it doesn't matter. if i love a person and their personality i'd date them" but i don;'t think that applies to me.

Are you kidding me, albeit I go for emotional attractiveness more than physical attractiveness, the HOTTEST males I've seen are transmen!!

The saddest thing is, they are usually attracted to females.

Now, a biological male won't do it for me. Unless he's Anthony Rapp, but he's gay anyway.
FtM transsexuals though, oh yes. MtF, no, though. I mean, if I liked the person, I'd try it but on a general basis, no.
