Gay guys wear white flip-flops...?

    Where did that come from?

    Like, Sal spent the night last night and when we were in my room, he looks at my flip-flops and says, "Oh you so would."
    I'm like, "So would what?"
    Him: "Have white flip-flops."
    Me: "So?"
    Him: "Only really gay guys wear white flip-flops."

    So I thought about it and yeah... I know no hetero boys with white flip-flops. In fact, all heteros I know where leather flip-flops.
    Where in god's name did that stereotype come from?

    Just to cement my gayness... I really really want those flip-flops.
    I bought a pair of knock off Reefs in Jersey.

    One of the best buys of my life. I still wear them bitches and I bought them about 6 years ago.

    i have a pair of white flipflops hate them cut me toes and cant play in them so i wear black rubber clogs :slight_smile:

    I don't get stereotypes like that. Does it imply that straight people don't wear white flip-flops? I didn't even know white flip flops existed...

    you see alot of guys wearing flip flops nowadays, straight or gay. Its definitly become more fashionable in recent years.

    Damn, them reefs look good, would have to be house flops only - hitting the beach in them would destroy them. White ain't the most practical for flip flops...:lol:

    I know....I'm a girl and this is like a gay boy thread,but.....I HATE flip-flops of any color! They give me blisters between my toes. (cough) Carry on!

    i know a couple of guys who are straight and they wear white flip flops.. i also dont know where the "white belt" steryotype came from either....
