Location: Waco, Texas Age: 23 Posts: 164 Join Date: Oct 2008 |  Church I'm going to church for the first time since I was kicked out 6 years ago for being gay. I'm terrifyed that someone will recognize me, even though this is a new church... Wish me luck!

Maybe she's not okay with rejecting all ideas of something bigger than ourselves. Maybe she's different then the majority of the LGBT population and ISN'T atheist. Besides, why is the reason important? What's important is that she's trying and she needs support rather than questions. And to the poster... Good luck and more power to you! If it's a church that subscribes to the whole idea of Homosexuality being wrong and a sin then it seems a little daft going to this particular church. I'm not against all religion and I understand the original poster is asking for good luck.. I freely give it Just don't get roped into supporting a close minded, bigoted church as that does no one any good in the long run |
