Shower Thoughts?

I usually just think about my day or I find myself rehearsing things in my head that I'll have to do the next day.

 

Farting is really just shitting your pants at the molecular level.

 

Anything can pop into my head in the shower. It was actually in the shower that I first started questioning the existence of a higher power. ...At age 6. But. Still in the shower. So yea, anything goes for me

 

I just stick on one of my Bowie albums and stand there for about 45 minutes or so

 

49 times..we fought that beast. It had a chicken's head and duck feet, with a woman's face, too. It was waiting in the bushes for us. It ripped off your dad's face. He was screaming something awful. In fact, there was this huge mess and I had to change the floors. You see, his blood it drained into the boards and I had to change 'em. But we all got a chicken duck woman thing waiting for us.

 

I figure things out in my mind in the shower. Sometimes I sing, usually I just make up the lyrics as I go. For some reason I can come up with lyrics way better in the shower than anywhere else.

Other times I just stand there and let the time pass.

 

I think where is the exit, I dont think my computer can last long under the shower. Still there....help...

Ill keep typing anyway. I remember another shower session where I did find the exit, and I used to daydream about traveling or about life after the shower, what to do etc. etc.

 

SInce I'm a writer I tend to think about my stories. The last thing I thought about is how to get my character to hell without everyone freaking out. Still didn't get an answer. The problem is: He has to go to hell xD

 

I think about so many things in the shower that I often don't remember what I was thinking.
About being trans, having conversations with people that will never actually happen, arguing with people that I can't argue with otherwise, working through a rough patch in a story, wondering what will happen next in a show/book/movie/anime.
Things like that

 

It's just kind of my time where I can step back from everything and take a good 15-20 minute break from life to just think about how things are going and reflect on whatever I've mainly been thinking of as of lately in a much calmer manner.

I love these.

When I'm showering, I often have arguments with myself. They're over stupid little things, I can't think of any at the moment. I'm weird, it's just how I pass time when I'm showering.

That and listening to music.

 

I think we all think a lot in the shower. This thought was actually when I was on the toilet though:

Thanks to the Internet, I have probably seen more naked ladies than all of my ancestors combined.

 

I think of clever comebacks to things people said hours (or even days) ago.

Either that, or coming up with really good song lyrics or melodies, then forgetting them before I get a chance to write them down.

 

I have a mirror and a glass panel on either side of me in the shower, so i often find myself nervously glancing at one of them and thinking...did I just see something move?...and then picturing weeping angels, clowns and ghosts and wishing I hadn't spent all night reading a horror book.

 

Since I take most of my showers in a locker room, I mostly think about getting my stuff done and getting dressed again.
