Anyone who lives in Italy here? I found no one yet. -- (I can't find an italian name which is really gender neutral. :/)
An advice: make a friend who lives in Italy and visit the country with him/her/them: you will see places where most tourists don't go, you will see daily life of people who live there. ^.^

My family's homeland. In 1905, my great great grandfather's first wife died, and so he married the babysitter. They put the family on a boat and sailed to Ellis Island, and during the voyage they got frisky and nine months later, my great grandfather was born. The family settled in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, and when he was an adult, my great grandfather moved to Detroit to work in the car factories. While he was there, he met a cute redhead from Croatia who became my great grandmother. My family has a rather interesting backstory.
