Just curious, as I know that members of the LGBT+ community are stereotypically atheist. I personally don't have a specific religion in my mind, but I just believe in God and Jesus and that they love and accept everyone, but that's kinda it. The only reason I even still go to church is because my parents force me. Yep that's it, I guess just curious what everyone else's views are.

I used to be a stanch Southern Baptist Christian, but now I mostly follow Blackfeet spirituality. I still believe in Na'pi (God) and Jesus, but I barely follow any of the Christian doctrines now.

I don't believe in a specific creator power, or anything like that, but I do respect the essence of life in all living things...

Something of an atheist with animistic tendencies, I guess.

Complete atheist. Nothing to do with LGBT issues. Never been religious, even as a young kid being taught prayers at the temple. I believe the world would be a better place without religion but people will always find 'something' to believe in.

Raised Roman Catholic but I identify as a Agnostic and more humanitarian. Rather put my beliefs in people than anything else.

Jewish, but far more culturally than spiritually. I don't think there's anyone up there watching us or deciding things for us, and I don't think people of my religion are better than people of other religions just because of what we believe in.

I'm not super religious, but if I had to label I would call myself just Christian. No denomination, just Christian. I pretty much believe there's a God and Jesus, and they are accepting and loving of good people. I don't believe a lot of what is interpreted from the Bible, such as homosexuality being a sin.

I have been raised as Roman Catholic. But I tend to follow my own rules. My opinion on religion has changed over the years. I still believe in God. But I'm not huge on religion. I believe that people should be able to live by their own rules and treat people with respect, as long as they are not harming anyone or themselves.

    I believe in physics.

I guess that'd make me an agnostic.

i definitely agree that the world would be better without religion, it causes so many issues. people should at least learn that everyone is equal regardless, but for some strange reason that seems to be impossible for some.

Christianity and Buddhism have primarily shaped my beliefs. However there are some aspects of Agnosticism and Existentialism I agree with.

I believe in the teachings of Jesus and call to love from Christianity. I believe in the importance of harmony, peace, kindness, present focus, and self discipline taught by Buddhism. To a degree I think that some things about the universe are inherently unknowable (agnosticism) and that human beings must come to their own determination of who they are and why they are here (existentialism).

I was raised strongly to be a Christian, but as I grew older learning and questioning I found it doesn't line up with either my form of morality, nor my knowledge of the world as a whole. I suppose I'm an atheist now. The only things I "believe" in would be morality, equality, science, progress and improvement. Sometimes I think it's more than I started with.

I tend to not do well around people of Abrahamic religions, considering the words of the doctrine itself along with the actions of many members past and present alike. It gives me a sense of respect for those who are in pagan and outlier religions, those that tend to see people as equals and don't want to hold our world back. Birth conditions are irrelevancy, the actions of one are their defining traits. That sort of thinking, I can truly commend.
