From the people I've talked to, most people associate people of the LGBT community as being Liberals, so I wanted to see how accurate this is. I ,myself, am pretty far right, so I don't fall into this category.

If it is true that the vast majority of LGBT people are liberals, I think it's probably down to knowing what it feels like to be different and maybe not be accepted as that, so we are more open and accepting as a result?

I am pretty much in the middle. My views on social issues tend to be liberal(but not all the time), and my economic views tend to be conservative(except for on a few things). So I registered myself as a republican, because I agree with the bulk of the main points of the republican party(small government, free market, lower taxes, etc.), even though my social views are way more to the left. However, these days, republicans are pretty divided when it comes to social issues anyway. You still have your "Gay is bad, and Christianity should be taught in schools" kind of republicans, but you also have your republicans supporting equality and freedom of religion and whatnot. So I feel like my social views no longer make a person any more or any less of a republican.
However, when I say I support equality, I mean equality for everyone. I don't want to give special privileges to the oppressed, but I'd rather even the playing field so they are no longer oppressed. Some of the people on the left think we should have things like hiring quotas, and laws protecting certain groups of people. I don't believe that is equality. Instead, we should just tell employers to not focus on anything except qualifications(and possibly age), and make laws to protect that apply to everyone.

I'm becoming more conservative as I get older but I'm somewhere between.

Despite how often I argue with leftists on the internet, I think I'm pretty left-leaning myself. I have some sympathy for libertarian viewpoints. The big issues that matter to me are freedom of speech and expression, and increased transparency in government. I am likely far too idealistic on this topic, but I think that so long as everyone can be open and honest, power can achieve beneficial end results for the different individuals voicing their concerns.

Politically: right of center. Economically: right of center. Socially: left of center.

Personally, I feel that if someone totally defines ALL of their ideology one way or the other, they are not true to themselves.

    My 2cents.

Politically I vary and don't support any one party. It depends on the person in question.

Socially I am fairly liberal, economically I am in the middle of the road.

Broadly speaking, centre or centre-right. But in reality I'm all over the place. Canada's political culture is quite a bit to the left of the United States, so in American terms, you might call me centre or centre-left. I like the free market, and I don't like government middling in people's personal lives. But at the same time, I'm fine with public healthcare and education.

I like examining policy and seeing what works, and what doesn't. I'm not so much about this side or that side, one party vs another.

Left leaning medium I suppose, I went a little too in-depth so I'll spoiler the reasons why.

I'd say I'm generally middle ground until we start talking about equal rights, gender whatever, freedom from religion or theocratic approach in general, reproduction, us of course, racism, weapons, abortions, hate crimes, religious exemption, war, bathrooms, or "government so small it can fit in your bedroom", background checks for weapons, "men's rights activists", neo-Nazis and confederate groups, in which I'd promptly be considered left because the right seems to lack any a reasonable standpoint whatsoever.

On the contrary if we start talking about "I'm actually a helicopter" (because apparently that's a thing), letting horrible people in prisons live and therefore risk escape or bail, "cis scum"/TERF extremists, more religious exemption again for some reason, It'll be a bit too much. Less obvious flaws, but still notable ones that need to be addressed.

So I'd probably say "still" middle ground, but generally a lot more on the left because it seems the right's primary focus is to consider us the enemy for the grand crime of existing. There's still plenty of flaws I'd prefer to shy away from though. I think the two party system is too limiting, I'd prefer to sit in a ring with no absolute crazies. But in the end I'll take the side with more science and less rocket launchers.

My politics are basically that everyone should just mind their own business and the government shouldn't interfere when it's not necessary. I guess that makes me right-wing/libertarian?

How is political different from social and economic put together? I don't understand.

I'm a far right libertarian, almost Minarchist (Minimal state). I believe the state only responsibility is to provide defense and maybe a court system. Everything else will be dealt in the markets.

Economic freedom is when you believe in a free market to regulate itself and not a government entity. People will voluntary exchange in mutual benefit. You can still believe in markets, but regulated by the government.

Social freedom is when a communiy owns the means of production aka Socialism. People will pitch in to help another instead of helping them self.

However, you can still believe in a market, but it will be heavily regulated or mildly depending on how far left you go.

Hopefully, I wasn't to confusing. Politics is a spectrum.

Probably center-left. I tend to look at issues more individually, but I'm definitely closer to left than right.

To be simplistic about it, you could put me down as a democratic socialist. Even then, a political label only goes so far. As far as parties go, I support those who support everyone. I'm also a believer in tolerance, but I do not tolerate intolerance. #Feelthebern
