My bf and I have been trying to learn more digits of I than each other. So far I'm on 50. How many do you know?

    11. I think that's precise enough for pretty much any reason we'd need pi. XD

For scientific accuracy purposes, only 15 digits of pi, after the decimal, need to be known. I know 6 as of right now, after the decimal, and that's good enough for non-scientific purposes; 3.141592

I know 7. My middle school math teacher had a continuous scroll around all 4 walls at the top of the classroom with as many digits as would fit, probably a couple hundred... but I only got to the first 7.

    5. I know 3.1412. Past that, I see no point in knowing it. I'm no mathematician and I can't think of any time I'd ever need to know it when there are more useful things to learn.

Certainly not as many as you. 3.14159265358979323
Also happens to be more than I'll ever need to know for any given purpose, except maybe showing off to other math people

3.14 was all I could remember. I'm not the best with numbers, despite being a "science nerd".

My nerdishness does not extend to maths. Plus I hated maths at school. It's been so long since then I can only manage 3.141

Off the top of my head, 30-50. I was able to recite 70-110 by memory, but I haven't practiced in years.
