Dye hair white? That's a new one. I hate to be negative but all the bleaching it will take will probably kill your hair, just soz you know.
It's not dye, it's bleach. It takes the pigment OUT of your hair, not puts new ones in. If it was dye it'd be easy. As it is, dying your hair can damage it. Bleaching it absolutely wrecks it, generally people who bleach white have problems with their hair simply snapping off. It makes it very brittle and weak.
You don't dye your hair white. You bleach it blonde and then tone it white. And it's damn expensive to do since toning isn't permanent and you'll have to deal with constant root growth. You'll have to keep dying and toning (When I go platinum I have my hair toned once every two weeks) if you want it to look as natural as possible. Not to mention the best quality products come from salons. If you're really that commited, get it done professionally or buy salon quality products by actually going to a salon. Then buy a salon quality toning shampoo. It'll prolong your hair from going brassy and back to blonde. It won't stop it because again, toning is NOT permanent. If you get a toning shampoo, use it 2 times a week or so. Cut back if your hair takes on a purplish-blue sheen. And before you ask... No, the stuff you buy in drugstores is NOT the same. Yeah... I get my stuff from drugstores, but that's because I'm cheap and for the most part, I generally don't care if my hair is killer. Except when it comes to my abnormal hair colors. In the US I fork over $13 for a jar of Manic Panic. Here, I splurge and spend 7€ on a jar of Directions. White is the hardest color to achieve. Don't attempt this by yourself unless you're a hairdresser and you have the high-quality products needed.
I did that before, but it was with spray-on dye and came out in the shower. Generally the reaction I got was a simple "why?" from anyone I talked to, so if you go ahead with this, have a good reason prepared for when people ask you why you did it.
If you want to dye your hair WHITE, it is very difficult. My friend Sean likes to dye his hair fun colors like hot pink or cotton candy blue, last winter he did white. Because he's half Filipino he has very dark hair. He had to bleach it, but bleaching turns it a yellow-ish color, so after he bleached it he had to put some purple into it to counteract the yellow ish color from the bleach. It did look really cool tho...
Hard to dye your hair lighter than it is, but it is possible. Why not try to have some highlights, just a few streaks of light colour so as to see the work involved. My general recommendation: do it. You are young, if it doesn't look good, you can easily colour it some darker colour until it grows (or gets cut) out. Enjoy! There is no real risk involved. And if you look as awesome as you hope, it will have been worth it. On the other hand, you can wait a bit and it will do it on its own, mine did.
Okay, judging by your avatar, you're asian Asian hair DOES NOT take well to coloration of any kind. If you bleach it, the chances of your hair becoming brittle and the follicles letting go are huge. I do not recommend it if you want to keep your hair. By the way... don't give me attitude. I was offering advice.
White is a very good idea, I once went really white blonde - but I had to dye it dark brown cause my teaches got annoyed lol. That site, Adam's Adventures, is totally awesome!
