...the world lost something very special... April 30th 2010 was the day Brian committed suicide. But I am not here today to mourn his death, but to remember his life. His smile lit up the room. His humor brightened your day. He was kind, gentle, to everyone he met. And he did all of that despite the pain he felt on the inside. He was the greatest person I ever knew. So today should not be a day of sadness, but a day of remembrance. A day to honor him. I wish every one of you reading this could have met him, just so that you could all realize how special he was.... I want him to be remembered, not for his grim death, but for his vibrant life.
