This seems like a common question people ask whenever I talk about girls or being gay/queer. I find it incredibly rude and disgusting. I hate that everyone has to assume I'm interested in men. I may be somewhat attracted to men, but this is no one's business. I've tried the whole being out as bi, but it didn't work.

I get people asking me if I'm gay and I'm bisexual. I've heard some lesbian women who pretend to be asexual so people think they're lesbian, because when they say they're lesbian no one believes them.

People believe what they want to believe I guess.

Sorry to hijack this thread but, Secrets5, did your survey threads about non-binary get removed? I don't see them anywhere. If they were I object to that because it discourages discussion of different viewpoints. I disagree with enforcing a dogmatic single PC gender discourse.

I actually do the asexual thing a lot of the time. Since I'm asexual/grey-A to guys. Even if they don't believe I'm asexual, I do notice I get sexualized a lot less. Which is what I'm after. I also feel like I'm on the asexual spectrum at times. So it's not a complete lie.

There's also the opposite side to that, when I'm talking about girls/being queer everyone assumes I'm gay. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

This has more to do with the fact that society believes lesbians don't exist in general.
