In like a day and a half.

The thing is we'll be going to New jersey for Bamboozle, and our hotel is in newark. A lot of people have told us to change hotels, or stay somewhere else, so we're a bit nervous, but everywhere is pretty much booked at this point, and so I was wondering if anyone who lives in NJ or has been there can give me any pointers for not getting shot?

I hope this isnt in the wrong section, i have a tendency to do that by accident...

Awesome! well yes Newark isn't exactly the most safe city

I don't know any more than that though, Sounds like it'll be fun though!

just lock your doors and close windows dont make eye contact and dont draw attention to yourself..... also if its really rough barricade the hotel room door with the table.. just incase

xD thats reassuring. Its nearish to the airport, so im assuming that it shouldnt be -too- bad.

<~ Lives in NJ. ^^ For Heaven’s sake Adam! It’s not THAT bad. >.< It actually depends on what part of Newark you’re in. There is a safe area you know. Since you'll be by the airport, you should be fine.

Just a heads up though, no worries about getting shot, but driving here can be a tad crazy, even for someone like me who has lived in the state my entire life. :P

Eh, so long as you stay in a group, you're bound to be pretty alright. :) Safety in numbers! ... Pepper spray doesn't hurt, either!

Use fast food restaurants for potty stops instead of rest stops. Those can be scary.
