So what was the exact moment you said to yourself, "oh, my God I'm gay."

For me I went to turn on the air conditioner in my place and it suddenly dawned on me...Oh my God I'm gay. I don't know if it was the hum of the unit or what but that is when it hit me.

I'm not sure exactly when I started, uh, accepting it, if I even have. I'm still working on that one. >.<

But I was in a drawing studio class freshman year of college, and I couldn't keep my eyes off the T.A. And I got up to ask her a question, and I remember feeling like I couldn't actually hear what I was saying 'cause my head was buzzing so loud, haha! And I sat down feeling wibbly and dizzy, and it wasn't until I walked out of class that I wondered, "What the HELL was that?! Holy crap, do I like chicks?!"

But I'm still having a lot of those "oh my god, I'm..." moments lately. I guess I'm trying to get used to the idea, it's still a little weird. Good weird! But weird. I'll be reading something, listening to a lecture, walking, and every once in a while I'll just go "Holy crap, I'm queer." A-actually, it's been "Holy crap, I'm a lesbian" lately but I still think it is too soon for me to actually settle down on the specifics. o_O Doesn't seem to stop me thinking it though, hehe.

I was watching a Tegan and Sara music video on my laptop paused it got up and said wow I am totally gay then went back to watching the video. They made me realize how hot girls are.

6th grade. some bitchy girl kept telling everyone in school that i was gay for no real reason at all. so i kept saying to myself that it couldnt be true blah blah blah, and it was a few months after i started searching "shirtless guys" in google that i thought, "what if i AM gay???"

the ironic part is that neither of us knew that she was right at the time.

The realization (that I am gay) almost boiled to the surface multiple times from the time I was 13 until I was 26 (last year); I just kept pushing it down and denied it every time. Late last year, however, after talking with a friend, it just hit me.

Never really had a dawning moment. Although after accepting it, "huh, I'm gay" would randomly pop into my head. I remember one time when I was standing in front of the mirror I pointed at myself and said "hey, you're gay!". It made me laugh at the time.
