Right now it's 1:56 a.m. here in suburban Detroit. I was just awakened by a helicopter landing on the road in front of my apartment about a half-hour ago. Apparently a 26ish-year-old was going incredibly fast and was possibly drunk, lost control, and rolled over. It was bad enough that I literally couldn't even tell what kind of car that it was (and I'm a car guy that works at a car company). The helicopter flew the person directly to University of Michigan, which is one of the best hospitals in the State of Michigan. Hopefully whoever it was winds up being ok. I have no personal connection to it, but it was an event considerably out of the ordinary. I've lived here five years, and I've never seen anything like this here before.
wow what a way to be woken up, i too hope the person is ok , sounds like whatever car it was it had to be fast.
