Thanks in advance! ![]() |

Lots of good shops and crap, and lots of housing. It gets a thumbs up from me.

| Guest Posts: n/a | McGill University is in one of the cities with the largest student per capita ratio on the entire continent of North America. But, I'm sure you already know that. Some other universities that have nice towns built around them are the University of Saskatchewan (Saskatoon), the University of Lethbridge (Lethbridge), the University of Western Ontario (London) and University of Victoria (Victoria). Or at least, I like the cities in which they are located. Ooh! And Dalhousie University in Halifax. |

Further afield things are cheaper, of course, but not cheap like Montreal is cheap. Or the smaller towns. | |

Victoria is nice to visit... wouldn't want to be stuck there, though. The island is so incredibly sleepy. |

Victoria is one of the nicest places to visit, but ive been stuck there for awhile and...it gets old fast...unless you want that kind of life. Tofino is definitely amazing.

At this rate I feel like it might be more economical to stay in Montreal... |

Likewise Kentville consists of Acadia. University in NS isn't cheap. It is at MUN in St. John's. |

The living expenses in some Ontario cities aren't too bad actually (definitely cheaper than in BC). Toronto isn't 'cheap' either but if I'm not mistaken, it's not as bad as it is in Vancouver. The Atlantic region, in terms of living costs and such, is a lot cheaper.

| Guest Posts: n/a | Like joeyconnick said, Queens University is one of Ontario's most prestigious universities and Kingston is overrun by students. |
