| PFLAG Mom Community Liaison   Gender: Female Orientation: Straight Out Status: Out to everyone/Yes, parents come out too! Location: Middle of Oregon Age: 50 Posts: 7,572 Join Date: Mar 2007 |  Coming together for a good cause My PFLAG chapter put a team together for Heaven Can Wait this year. This is a breast cancer awarement and fundraising effort. We had neon green (the brightest shirts there) with our PFLAG logo entwined with the pink breast cancer ribbon. Everybody saw us! We got alot of positive comments and our name was broadcast to 3500 people. What I loved is that we were able to advertise PFLAG in an environment that gets huge community support. We were very happy that we did it and hope to get more member participation next year! By the way, my chapter Vice-president is a breast cancer survivor so we also supported her.
