"To die for" - it's a phrase we use sometimes about a person who is absolutely stunning, close to perfection in our eyes etc. Me and a friend said it last night about one of the bar staff at a gay club, and I'vesaid it about a couple of other people too.

A song that meant a lot to me when I was younger (Elton's Song by Elton John) ends with the lines:

I would give my life
For a single night
Beside you

So the question is, would you? Is there someone, or can you imagine someone, who is so stunning, so beautiful, so hot, so perfect that you would would spend one night with him/her knowing that you would die (let's assime peacefully) afterwards?

I only know what I'm feeling right now -

despite everything about me, my experiences, my age, everything someone can hold against me so say I don't know what true love is...

with this one person, I honestly did have that feeling. I still do. I would love nothing more than to go back and do so.

If i found out i really had nothing to look forward to and my life was looking grim, i might give it all up for one night with Gavin Creel. But as long as Gavin Creel is alive, i dont think my life could ever get that grim

No! No one night of pleasure, no matter how good, would be worth ending my life for! Even the guy in my school i have a huge crush on,even for him i wouldn't. Life is worth so much more than one night of transitory pleasure surely?!

but he was just a really nice guy (& beautiful too) i couldn't forget for a while ... not worth dying over....

But I think this should have been worded like...
As a would you rather.
Such as, "Would you rather have hot, perfect person for a night and die the next day, or never have anyone above average the rest of your life?"

In which case, I'd go for the one night really.

I currently have no one that I would die for one night with, not even someone who I have a crush on. I do hope that when I meet the "one for me" that they are so special to me that I could answer yes to a question like that.

I was out playing D&D with a very good friend of mine who also is my first crush, and while normally I don't think I'd die for a night with someone hot, being able to see him more often made me realize how much I'm still in love with him that I probably would want to die just to sleep with him. He is straight, but I'm not sure I'll be able to get over him until another hot guy comes along.

Honestly I think there is one person I would for. Joey has it right though, it's all about her inner beauty, the fact that she is incredibly hot is just a bonus. I wouldn't for a night of just passion though. I would to have a night to talk to her, let her open up, open up to her and just be together plus passion. For that kind of night with her, I would.
