Here is a survey (you will remain anonymous) that you should all take if you are in school. Its the GLSEN survey on school climate for glbt students. This survey is very important in getting laws passed that protect glbt kids from bullying and harrassment in schools. Here is more info: Help GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) inform education policymakers and the public about what’s really going on in our nation’s schools by completing the 2009 National School Climate Survey, GLSEN’s sixth national survey about the experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth in school. If you are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender, attended high school or middle school sometime during the last school year (2008-2009) and are at least 13 years old, tell us about your experiences in school. If you did not complete the entire school year you are still eligible. The survey is completely anonymous. www.glsen.org/2009survey
Good survey overall, but I attend a boarding school, so I was unsure on how to answer some of the questions about community - like whether I was supposed to be talking about my home or school community.
Holy God, that took a long time. It may have been worth it, though. It was slightly awkward when they asked about my zip and school district, thought they were going to come find me or something! Haha then I realized it was for the end.
I took it a while ago. It was damn long, but I had a lot of shit too say. It was a school climate survey. I got, for lack of a better term, bullied for my religion and gender expression.
Oh, I love filling out surveys, but I go to school in England, so I probably can't fill out this one... ):
I swear all surveys repeat themselves on those "How far do you agree" questionssss. It even asked for my age twice. Anyways, doneski! That survey made me hungry. ^_^
All done! Jeez, I hope this helps at least a little bit. My school is THE worst place for gay people. The majority of students is pretty much prejudiced against anyone who's different. So I feel a little better now that I've taken a survey on it.
