So, as I was saying in chat earlier, whenever someone asks me to hang out, get asked to help at Food Bank, etc, whatever it is, I automatically ask when it will be, where, and how long, as well as various other things if it fits in the context. This ends up making even spur of the moment things completely scheduled. I was wondering if anyone else was like this, or if anyone knew of how to get out of this type of thing. I personally don't like doing it, but something in my head makes me XD (Expecting Pauline to respond >_> *hides*)
I do it ALL the time. I think so long as you're not whipping out a calendar and trying to measure out exactly what 15 minutes looks like when blocked out, you're fine. (I hope. For my sake.)
i do it i like to plan things out when even they are random things i like to have a plan i like a plan
I do exactly that, I don't just go, I need to know where, why and for how long. I think it's just controlling mentality, or something. Personally, I wish I could get rid of it sometimes, but I find it's pretty useful, because I'm actually pretty busy with day-to-day things, and would rather be on time to most things than be late to everything.
Describes my life to a T. Constantly make appointments and times to be at a place, and then don't even record them. I count on my memory (Which never fails 95% of the time!) to remind me of stuff.
